It has an Ivory ABS which is used to bind the top and back with a matching heel cap.

The neck of the instrument is made with mahogany with a smooth satin finish. The rosewood fingerboard is bound and has about 20 frets in it. The PPS synthetic bone nut of the guitar is 43mm (1-11/16”) wider. The neck of the device joins the body at the 14th fret with a dovetail neck joint.

The bridge of Alvarez is bi-level design and is made up of rosewood. It is covered with PPS synthetic bone compensated saddle. The scale length of the instrument is 648mm (25.5″). There is black pickguard which protects the attack of picks.

Performance

The neck of  Alvarez RD26CESB guitar is narrow and slim so that the new users can also find it very comfortable. It has a satin finish on the instrument which gives it a fast feel. But it is not for the very young new players. They may find difficulty with the size.
